Membership FAQs

Yes! Everyone who visits the Vancouver Aquarium must reserve tickets online before their visit, whether they are a longtime member or a first-time visitor. Please account for everyone who will be joining you on your visit.  You can reserve your tickets here.

We recommend reserving your time slot 48/72 hours before your arrival.  This is especially important if you want to visit over the weekend and holidays.  Same day tickets are hard to accommodate as we are running at a limited capacity.

The aquarium can get busy quickly.  But don’t worry there is plenty of parking available!  Please check out our map here.  The  Miniature Train parking lot (lot B) and the Police Lot (lot C) gives you quicker access out of the park onto West Georgia St and Downtown Vancouver as well as access to the Lions Gate Bridge* and into North Vancouver

 

The aquarium parking lot (lot A) has accessible parking and electric vehicle charging stations.

 

*Please note access to the Lions Gate Bridge is closed Mon-Fri from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.

We understand that sometimes things pop up and you can’t make your reservation to visit us.  You will need to email us at members@vanaqua.org with your order number, membership number and the day and time you would like to rebook to.

You can visit the guest services desk on your next visit and we can update your card with a new expiry date sticker.

Your child will remain free for the duration of your membership.  And when you need to renew your membership, you will upgrade to the correct membership package for your family.

We do not offer prorated pricing for adding someone to your membership.

Vancouver Aquarium memberships are non-transferable and are for the exclusive use of the person named on the membership.

If your information is out of date, please email members@vanaqua.org and we will be able to update that for you.

You will need to purchase different membership packages in separate orders.

If you don’t know your membership number, please email us members@vanaqua.org, with your first and last name the membership is under, and we can help you find your membership number.
