What To Expect

What to Expect:

🐟 Who: Formal and informal educators fishing for new ways to incorporate ocean literacy within student learning!
🐟 Food Included: Lunch as well as coffee/tea is included in the ticket cost. Please bring your own coffee mug and water bottle to avoid using single use items.
🐟 Aquarium Access: Participants are encouraged to explore the rest of Canada's largest aquarium after the workshop ends (from 2:30 - 5:00 PM the day of).
🐟 Workshop Agenda: Join us for an immersive, discussion-filled, professional development day exploring what to expect from a Vancouver Aquarium Field Trip and how to incorporate ocean education pre- and post-visit. Stay tuned for all of the splashy details!

Things To Know

All parking in Stanley Park is paid parking. Please remember to pay for parking or find alternative modes of arrival such as bus or biking.

When: Please arrive before 8:30 a.m. so we can start the day on time!

Where: We look forward to meeting you at Admissions, located at the aquarium’s main entrance.

This event is for ticketed adult educators. Children and other guests are not permitted.

Vancouver Aquarium reserves the right to cancel the workshop if there is low enrollment. Participants will be told October 17th if the session is cancelled and tickets will be refunded.
