This exhibit offers you the opportunity to get hands-on with some of the mysterious and colourful animals beneath our waters. Learn about anemones, sea stars and urchins as you touch some of their unique features.
The red sea cucumber is the largest of approximately 30 sea cucumber species in British Columbia.
In the centre of the sea anemone, surrounded by the tentacles, is its mouth… and its anus. Imagine a bag with tentacles on top — that’s the basic sea anemone.
