The 4-D Experience
The 4-D Experience
Our 4-D theatre brings learning to life. The 4-D seat system includes an astounding number of features and effects, each one carefully choreographed to the film on the screen. Immerse yourself in the 4-D experience and allow yourself to be transported into the action through the special effects of sound, smell, touch, lights and weather effects.
Dunk has lost his lucky pebble and his best friends Splash, Bubbles, and Ripple want YOU to join them in the search. From visiting the beautiful kelp forest to seeing an active underwater volcano, join these Reeftown Rangers as they “catch a current” to explore our one big ocean and meet all kinds of citizens of the sea.
With larger-than-life images that leap right out of the screen, the 4-D experience is your chance to look at marine animals in a whole new way.
Immerse yourself in a herd of plodding elephants or a flock of cawing birds, with surround sound that puts you in the middle of the action.
Catch a whiff of the scents that will further immerse you in the 4-D experience, with customized smells for various shows.
A variety of innovative technology creates vibration, shaking and rumbling in sync with the effects on screen.
Exciting flashes of light take place to mimic lightning and other bright natural phenomena.
Various effects like wind, mist, snow and bubbles imitate elements of weather and will awaken your senses.
We recommend you arrive 15 minutes prior to the show time as spaces are limited. Late admittance to the theatre will not be accepted as the doors are locked once the show begins.
Our 4-D shows are accessible for all audiences and include: wheelchair access entry, 4 wheelchair spots, assisted listening headsets and closed captioning units are available upon request.
The 4-D Experience may not be appropriate for children under four or for people with light sensitives, back issues or scent allergies. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times inside the theatre and in the Aquarium.
