Guided by an Aquarium Interpreter, you will learn what it is like to work as a biologist in several Behind-the-Scenes locations. Get up close with a variety of animals from local fish to tropical sharks all while helping the biologists care for them.
During this program, you will enjoy a special Behind-the-Scenes tour, and get a chance to meet biologists and learn about the work they do at the aquarium. During this program, experience what it is like to care for these animals, by participating in different feeds.
Experience what it’s like to care for fish, jellyfish and more as you go behind the scenes to see the fishy part of animal care. You will get an opportunity to experience first-hand what it is like to be a Biologist.
Throughout this entire adventure, you’ll get an intimate look at the many conservation and research programs, along with initiatives, that the Aquarium is involved with on an ongoing basis.
Advance reservations are required. Booking within a week of the program date is unlikely so contact us earlier to check availability. Full credit card payment is required upon booking. Program requires participants to walk on un-even, wet, slippery surfaces. This program may not be suitable for those whom are not sure-footed. Closed-toed shoes are required. Please advise us of any disabilities, special needs, medical conditions or concerns you may have that could prevent you from fully participating in the program. No concern is too small; the more information you can provide about yourself, the better prepared we can be for your experience. Please note that cameras and photos are permitted.
