The Vancouver Aquarium is happy to donate general admission tickets to support other non-profit organizations in their fundraising efforts. Before requesting a donation, please read the information below to ensure your organization meets the donation request criteria.

Requests for support must be received through the below online donation request form. Requests via phone, mail, fax and email will not be accepted.

Overview

Eligibility

The Aquarium donates to a wide variety of community groups, local charities and not-for-profits, particularly those with a focus on children/youth, education, people with disabilities and the environment. Due to the large number of requests we receive, we are not able to fulfill every request.

In order to be considered for a ticket donation, your organization must meet the following criteria: 

  • Be a non-profit or community organization located in British Columbia
  • Be able to provide your organization’s Charitable Number
  • Submit your request at least six weeks before your fundraising event
  • Only one request per organization can be submitted each year

The Aquarium does not grant donations to the following:

  • Individuals
  • Schools and post-secondary institutions
  • Political or religious organizations
  • For-profit ventures
  • Third party fundraising efforts
  • Sports Clubs or Teams

We do offer a discounted admission rate for schools, community groups and non-profit groups throughout the year. Schools can also apply for a Bennett Bursary, which offers programs for schools that have high concentration of students vulnerable to the effects of poverty.
