Summer Camps for Kids Get ready to dive into summer as kids explore the aquatic world around us. We offer camps for children in Kindergarten to Grade Eight and camps range from 1 to 5 days long. Age groups are based on the grades children will be entering in fall 2009. All camps run from 9.30am-4pm unless otherwise stated. The kindergarten camp runs from 9.30-12pm.

Sea Squirts Camp (5 half days) Discover the wonders of the sea. Join us for 5 mornings of stories, games and crafts as we learn about blubbery belugas, sensational sharks and so much more.

Gr1-2 Marine Mammal Madness Camp Gr1-2 (3 days) Explore the amazing mammals roaming the world’s oceans, from Orcas to sea lions and polar bears to dolphins. This camp also includes a field trip.

Gr1-2 Underwater Adventures Camp (3 days) Learn about the many plants and animals that call the underwater world home. From the darkest depths of the salty ocean to the mysteries of the Amazon River, we will study and explore what it takes to survive in these watery habitats.

Gr1-2 Arctic Explorers Gr1-2 (3 days) Are you brave enough to endure the extreme climates of Canada’s Arctic? Come and explore the real North Pole as you come face to face with some of the Aquariums Arctic residents and learn about the creatures that call it home.
When: August 5th-7th *FULL* Time: 9.30-4pm Cost: Members $156 Non members $195
Gr1-2 BC Biologists (1 day) T shirt not included Explore the creatures on our doorstep. From Orcas to otters, tide pools to salmon streams, kids will get an in depth look at ecosystems that are right next door.

Gr1-2 Tropical Treasures (1 day) T shirt not included Join us as we head south to investigate the animals that inhabit the heat. From rainforests to coral reefs, these unique creatures are sure to amaze.

Gr1-2 Into the deep (1 day) T shirt not included Learn what it takes to survive in some of the most extreme aquatic environments as we dive into the darkest reaches of the ocean to discover the creeps of the deep.
