 A Splash of a Birthday!
Celebrate with the splashiest party around in a two-hour educational exploration of the aquatic world.
With a quick visit to our fully decorated private party room to drop off any gifts and jackets, the group will be introduced to some very unique props such as a whale or shark jaw to touching a sea otter fur. From there our enthusiastic Birthday Party Coordinator will guide the group through various seashore activities. The children will go into our splashy classroom, the wetlab where they'll experience aquatic life up close as they touch marine invertebrates like squishy sea cucumbers, sticky anemones and prickly sea urchins. Also the group will meet an aquarist behind the scenes with a visit through our secretive Jellyfish hallway! As an added bonus, the birthday child becomes an honorary Aquarist and gets to feed the fish in the two-storey Strait of Georgia Pacific Canada Pavilion, one of the Aquarium's largest exhibits.
Come learn fascinating facts about our animals and find out how we can all help protect the marine life we all love.
The Splash of a Birthday includes:
- All day admission for all party guests to the Aquarium
- Chocolate or white cake
- Fruit punch / Coffee & Tea
- The Birthday child receives a giftshop certificate to allow them to purchase a gift of their choice and much more!
Note: No outside food is permitted.
Child must be age 5 or older to participate in the Splash of a Birthday.
Availability and Pricing
The Splash of a Birthday are offered 4 times over the weekend only. There is a 10 am and a 2 pm party on Saturday and Sunday's. The MAXIUM number of participants are up to 16 kids plus up to 4 adults.
The pricing of the Birthday Party Program are for Non-Members are $425.00 and a discounted $340.00 for members plus any applicable taxes.
Cancellations made after 7 days from booking date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. A 25% re-booking fee will apply if you change the date of your program within two weeks of the program date. Missed programs will not be refunded or rescheduled.
