Revitalization

Work is currently underway at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park, as a part of an approved expansion project. This work includes demolitions, tree removals and new construction. The Vancouver Park Board approved the proposal by the Vancouver Aquarium to remove and replace identified trees as part of the redevelopment, with a replacement ratio of two new trees for every tree removed, as part of its expansion and revitalization plans.

Summer Hours

Summer hours are typically longer (9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m)

No Smoking Policy

A new city bylaw prohibits smoking in all Vancouver parks. This includes anywhere in Stanley Park, beaches, seawall, trails and public golf courses.
