SPRING BREAK AT THE AQUARIUM, MARCH 5-14!
Meet SpongeBob SquarePants™ daily and watch his movie in 4D!
Vancouver, BC – The Vancouver Aquarium proudly presents Spring Break at the Aquarium, today through Sunday, March 14th. Bring your family to meet and greet SpongeBob SquarePants™ and his underwater friends daily during spring break from March 5 through March 14. And, watch his movie on the big screen in our 4D Experience theatre.
Starting today, Aquarium visitors can meet and greet SpongeBob SquarePants™ daily from 10am – 1pm! You’ll also meet some of his underwater friends at our Touch Pools where you can actually touch and feel living marine life like sticky sea anemones and spiny sea stars.
And, for the first time in Western Canada, see SpongeBob SquarePants™ on the big screen in our 4D Experience Theatre! Soak up the excitement and special effects with this amazing presentation in 4D - a 3D movie plus the added fun of special effects inside our 4D theatre.
You’re invited to meet some of SpongeBob's underwater friends by getting up-close and hands-on with them at our Touch Pools. Kids of all ages will have an opportunity to engage with an array of multicoloured marine life like never before. You have to touch it to believe it!
Did you know that sponges are animals? Our Touch Pools help you learn about some of the amazing sponges that live right off the coast of British Columbia through a series of hands-on activities and amazing video footage.
Spring Break at the Aquarium also invites you to join our daily Spotlight on Canada guided tours and our Explore Canada Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win a $200 Visa Gift Card.
