Our focus on sustainability and conservation can be seen throughout every aspect of every event booked at the Aquarium. From energy efficient kitchen equipment to ecological water management during event clean up, we strive to find innovative ways to reduce waste and consumption at every stage, while still aiming to provide you with an incredible and memorable event.
Ocean Wise is a Vancouver Aquarium Conservation program dedicated to raising awareness of sustainable seafood options for consumers. The Catering and Events department is proud to be the first and only catering company in Vancouver to make this commitment to conservation. We now have more than 3,000 Ocean Wise partner locations across Canada.
As a member of the Green Table Network, we continuously strive to find innovative ways to help you make your next event environmentally friendly. This includes smarter, more energy-efficient equipment, leading-edge lighting, innovations in compostable serving ware and recycling systems, and Farm-to-table and ocean-friendly supply networks.
The Vancouver Aquarium is a self-supporting, non-profit society dedicated to effecting the conservation of aquatic life through display and interpretation, education, research and direct action. By hosting your event at the Vancouver Aquarium, you will help us achieve a positive effect on the marine world and directly contribute to our conservation, research and education programs.
