Coastal Connections

Looking for a cool new way to enjoy the hot summer? Join us in our Wet Lab, our popular one-of-a-kind behind-the-scenes classroom allowing visitors to handle and observe a wide variety of live tidal pool animals from local B.C. waters. Modeled after a mix of our students’ favourite programs offered throughout the school year, participants will discover how coastal animals have adapted to life in their shoreline environment while learning about basic biology, anatomy and taxonomy and developing an appreciation and sense of stewardship for the incredible ocean life all around them.

Booking a program lead by our team of knowledgeable and friendly staff and volunteers is an easy way to provide your group with an incredible learning experience.  Participants of our Coastal Connections directed program will interact with live sea animals and gain a first-hand insight into the inner workings of intertidal marine life. This is a unique opportunity to engage your group, inspire curiosity and instill a sense of respect for all ocean life and its environment.

Your program booking will also include admission to the whole Aquarium on the day of your booking.
