Coastal Connections

Looking for a cool new way to enjoy the hot summer? Join us in our Wet Lab, our popular one-of-a-kind behind-the-scenes classroom allowing visitors to handle and observe a wide variety of live tidal pool animals from local B.C. waters. Modeled after a mix of our students’ favourite programs offered throughout the school year, participants will discover how coastal animals have adapted to life in their shoreline environment while learning about basic biology, anatomy and taxonomy and developing an appreciation and sense of stewardship for the incredible ocean life all around them.
