Booking a School Group

Booking a school program is an easy way to provide your students with an incredible learning experience. Your students will interact with live sea animals and gain a firsthand insight into intertidal marine biology. This is a unique opportunity to engage your students, inspire curiosity and instill a sense of respect for all ocean life and their environment. Bookings for School Programs are competitive! Popular programs and field trip dates book quickly, so be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible! Registration for all school programs is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Prepare Your Information

Please have the following ready:

A choice of several dates and times
The number of students and adult chaperones
Address, postal code, phone and fax numbers of the school
Credit card

There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $65.00 required in order to book any directed school program. Please have your credit card ready.

Once you book a program, we will send you a package; please read everything in the package. You must SIGN AND RETURN the CONFIRMATION sheet within 10 days of receiving it in order to confirm your program. You can mail or fax it to the Booking Office. Failure to return your program confirmation within 10 days will result in your program being cancelled and offered to another school group. Learn more by reading School Program Booking Information.

Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your visit or significantly change the number of students booked, we ask that you inform the bookings office of any changes in your plans at least 2 weeks before your program. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the program, you will be charged 50% of the total price, based on the most recent number of students you booked.

Self-Directed Group Fees

Self-guided visits are possible any day of the year. School groups MUST book in advance by calling 604-659-3552. You will receive one free adult admission (teacher/chaperone) with every five paying students.
