A field trip to the Vancouver Aquarium is a unique way to engage your students in a hands-on learning experience with incredible marine life.

Through our hands-on programs, Aquarium educators touch the lives of thousands of students and teachers every year, turning education into action for change. Staff-facilitated school programs are 1-2 hours in length and are held in our galleries and our behind-the-scenes classrooms, including our renowned Wet Lab learning facilities.

In addition to your workshop with our expert staff, your program fees include access to:

  • Admission to the Aquarium from opening to closing for each participant
  • 1 free adult chaperone for each 5 participants (staff needed for student accessibility and the enrolling teacher are free)
  • All of our daily show offerings, including marine mammal talks and public access to the 4D theatre
  • Our current feature exhibit. For the 2017/2018 school year, it is Below the Surface our new underwater Steller sea lion viewing.
