The ongoing contributions made by our sponsors and partners are essential to the successful operation of the Vancouver Aquarium, both as an educational facility and also in the field.
AquaVan educators deliver award-winning aquatic programs, featuring live animals, props and activities, throughout British Columbia and Alberta. Students have the opportunity to discover the connections among animals, environments and ourselves when they may be otherwise unable to visit the Vancouver Aquarium.
The BC Hydro AquaVan team gratefully thanks their financial sponsors who have ensured that, since 1994, over 381,700 people have touched a sea star, watched a barnacle feed and walked like a crab. Thanks to our partners in education, BC Hydro AquaVan can offer all schools and communities in British Columbia equal pricing.
Held each September, the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is a national community program coordinated by the Vancouver Aquarium. In 2010, thousands of volunteers cleaned up over 98,000 kg of litter from 2,235 km of shoreline. The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is proud to be supported by:
For more than 50 years, the Vancouver Aquarium has been one of the community's most unique special-event venues, providing guests with an entertaining and informative look at the often mysterious world beneath the waves. Each June, we presented Night at the Aquarium, our signature gala fundraiser. One hundred percent of all proceeds go to the Aquarium's education and conservation activities.
Our 2011 Night at the Aquarium event would not have been possible without the support of these generous sponsors:

The Vancouver Aquarium hosts its annual wine-tasting and food-sampling event, Toast to the Coast, this year on November 4, 2011. Some of the restaurants you will experience this year include: The Granville Room; Provence Mediterranean Grill; Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company and the Manhattan Restaurant from the Delta Vancouver Suites. Funds raised from this hugely popular event will benefit Aquarium education and conservation initiatives.
