There are many ways to donate to the Vancouver Aquarium to meet all individual preferences. Choose to make a one-time donation or provide an ongoing sponsorship of a program. Decide if your donation will be a legacy you leave behind, or make a donation on behalf of a loved one. Whatever you choose, you are creating the opportunity for future generations to continue learning about our oceans and marine life, and how best to protect them.
You can direct your support to a specific program such as the B.C. Wild Killer Whale Adoption Program, direct action conservation programs (including Ocean Wise and the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup), or research projects that focus on declining marine mammal populations. Whatever you choose, your donation will be tax-deductible and your contribution will have a profound impact on our work. Few organizations offer as many reasons to give as the Vancouver Aquarium.

A donation to the Aquarium in honour or in memory of someone special is a meaningful way to pay tribute to them. Upon receipt of your gift, we’ll send a letter to the person or the family of the person your gift tributes, letting them know about your donation. The amount of your gift will be kept strictly confidential and you’ll receive an official tax receipt. Make a tribute online or by phone at 604-659-3473.
A gift in your will is a simple and caring way to ensure future generations will benefit from aquatic education while supporting ongoing conservation and research programs that protect our delicate ecosystems. A planned gift can take several forms including bequests, gifts of securities, life insurance and endowments. Did you know that some children, even those in Metro Vancouver, have never been to the ocean? You can provide an opportunity for children, particularly those in need, to learn about the animals that live in the sea by helping their class go on a field trip to the Vancouver Aquarium.
