Not many people know that the revenue generated by our facility exists to support our ongoing education, conservation and research programs, which range from an international breeding program to save one of the most endangered frog species in British Columbia, to conducting groundbreaking research on killer whales in the wild. All proceeds from every visit and purchase made at the Vancouver Aquarium help support these initiatives, but as a non-profit society, we are also dependent on the generosity of our individual and corporate donors to continue operating our education, conservation and research programs.
