Get Hands-On

Volunteers and interns have a huge impact on the operation of the Vancouver Aquarium and our mission to help protect and conserve marine life. They include high school and university students, parents, families, professionals and retirees. There's a vast range of diverse opportunities, from educating and engaging our visitors to administrative assistance and food preparation for our animals. We also rely on volunteer support in our school programs, galleries, gift shop and—for our experienced volunteers— the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre.
