Why not do something different with your special Valentine? Join the Vancouver Aquarium exclusive "adults only" casual sleepover on Saturday February 13, 2010. The excursion begins after hours at the Aquarium with a succulent buffet designed by our very own culinary team with a complimentary glass of wine. After dinner come experience an exclusive screening in our 4D Theatre with excitement, stunning visuals and unexpected sensory surprises! Meet and travel with our very own Aquarium sex therapist, Dr. O. Love on a very special expedition tour you will never forget: the "Sea-fari of Passion" featuring aquatic courtships. Sushi 101 is a light and fun cooking workshop perfect for you and your Valentine's to show off your own culinary skills in friendly competition or to craft personalized sushi rolls in appreciation of one another or combine forces to just let your creative mind's go.
In addition, there will be a Cash Bar till bedtime, Chocolate Buffet, Cheeses of the World, and much, much more!
To end the adventurous night, how special would it be to bed down with your sleepover bags in front of the majestic beluga whales in the Aquarium's spectacular Canada's Arctic underwater gallery. With the Beluga’s lulling you to sleep, be prepare to be woken up to a sit-down, white linen hot breakfast buffet as you are pampered by our catering department once again. The fun doesn’t stop there! After breakfast, be prepared to re-immerse yourselves into the magic of the Aquarium as we awaken for Valentine’s Day. You will have some time for yourselves to explore and spend the morning with your favourite animals such as our Pacific White-sided Dolphins on the Marine Mammal Deck, or share a great big yawns with our Sloths’ in the Graham Amazon Gallery. To end the special sleepover, you will have the chance to meet our trainers and one of our resident animals.
Cost:
- $150.00 per participant (price includes GST)
- Members receive a 20% discount ($120.00, price includes GST)
- All prices listed here are in Canadian funds.
- Minimum age: Must be 19 years of age (ID will be checked)
