We’re excited about our new concrete. Really! Most of us at the Aquarium get excited about animals, but lately we’ve gained a new respect for green concrete.
To help cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, we’re using less cement to make our concrete and replacing it with fly ash, an industry waste product that would have ended up in the landfill.
Our concrete helps you breathe better and helps us meet Canada’s one tonne challenge.
