Let your child’s imagination swim during Story Time in Clownfish Cove. It’s a great way for kids to learn about and relate to the aquatic world while having a lot of fun. Through interesting characters and engaging stories about marine life, interpreters take their young audience to an exciting world that’s full of imagination and creativity. Story Time is most enjoyed by families with children eight years old or younger.

Story Time takes place in Clownfish Cove, which is located in the underwater viewing area of the Wild Coast gallery. Clownfish Cove is designed to allow children to explore and build on their understanding of our world. The gallery offers tips for caregivers to guide the children through their explorations and play. Children can also get up close to live animals through touch exhibits, glass crawling tunnels and fun displays.
Clownfish Cove fosters children’s connections to the natural world—all through exploration and play. When children play, they develop their imagination and creativity, as well as their language, social and problem-solving skills. By role-playing the part of a junior animal technician, getting close-up looks at local marine species and learning about the dolphin research we do at the Aquarium, kids will start to understand the wonders of the marine world and why it’s important to help protect it.
