Restaurants supplying food to Night at the Aquarium are committed to providing sustainable, ocean-friendly seafood through the Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise™ program.

By looking for the Ocean Wise symbol beside menu items, you can be assured that you are making the best choice for the health of the oceans. Species identified as Ocean Wise are:

  • abundant and resilient to fishing practice
  • managed effectively
  • harvested with minimal impact to ocean habitat
  • caught with limited accidental bycatch of possibly endangered species
