Night at the Aquarium is the Vancouver Aquarium’s signature gala fundraiser to raise money to benefit the Aquarium's many education, conservation and marine science endeavors. This high-profile evening will provide Vancouver's philanthropic and corporate leaders with a unique way of experiencing the Aquarium as the magical backdrop for a splendid gala evening. Guests are encouraged to explore the galleries and enjoy a full evening of food and wine stations and live entertainment scattered throughout the Aquarium.

The Vancouver Aquarium is a not-for-profit organization. One hundred percent of all proceeds from Night at the Aquarium will go to the Aquarium's education, research and conservation activities. Thank you for making 2011’s Night at the Aquarium our most successful gala fundraiser yet, raising over $350,000.

For the 2011 Chairman’s Circle, we were delighted to announce Sylvia Earle as our honoured speaker. Sylvia is a world renowned oceanographer, explorer, author and lecturer. She is also the former chief scientist of NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) in the US and was recently awarded the “TED” prize for her outstanding leadership.
