Rise Above Plastics Education Night

Come to the Vancouver Aquarium to learn about the life-cycle of plastic, its implications to the ecosystem and human health, learn about The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup and hear about how The Ocean Legacy Foundation has teamed up with LUSH to turn plastic pollution into recycled packaging and many other options.

This event is run in partnership with the Vancouver chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, a global environmental non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network.

This event will be livestreamed on The Vancouver Aquarium's facebook page.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and there will be an ASL interpreter.
