Celebrating Accessibility At The Vancouver Aquarium

Join us Saturday, June 4, 2016 to celebrate accessibility. Take advantage of these additional services to explore our world like never before.

Wetlab

Experience The Aquarium

  • Sign Language Interpretation students from Douglas College provide American Sign Language-English interpretation for Deaf visitors during the day.

  • Wet Lab guided tours for a hands-on experience of our local marine life.

  • Vancouver Aquarium Volunteers will be available to showcase tactile props throughout the galleries.

  • Canucks Autism Network (CAN) will be offering an engaging, fun and welcoming exhibit for all ages.

  • 4-D Theatre will be showing Great Escapes: Life in 4-D, a look at the ingenious tactics animals have developed to survive in a danger-filled world. Wheelchair spaces and printed scripts available.
