Expedition Files With Canadian Geographic Explorer Jill Heinerth

Jill Heinerth travels the world exploring underwater caves and deep ocean vistas on projects that are thought impossible. With dynamic images and stunning photographs from the last finite frontiers of this Earth, Jill will share stories about risk management, technology and synergism as she recounts her exploration inside Antarctic icebergs, beneath the Sahara Desert and deep inside submerged caves around the world.

Our Speaker

Jill Heinerth is a Canadian cave diver, underwater explorer, writer, photographer, filmmaker and the first Explorer-in-Residence for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.  She has made TV series for PBSNational Geographic Channel and the BBC, consulted on movies for directors including James Cameron, written several books and produced documentaries including We Are Water and Ben's Vortex. She is currently on her We are All Explorers Canadian school tour inspiring youth to get outdoors and discover our world.
