Go Behind The Scenes

This is a unique opportunity to view the Vancouver Aquarium with our animal care team. This tour includes access to exclusive behind-the-scenes areas, and will give you a chance to access our popular Discover Rays exhibit without waiting in line. Our knowledgeable interpreters will also show you amazing props that will give you a new perspective on stingray science.

Things To Know

Stingray Encounters require participants to walk on wet, slippery surfaces. Closed-toed shoes are required. At the time of booking, please advise us of any disabilities, special needs, medical conditions or concerns you may have that could prevent you from fully participating in the program. No concern is too small; the more information you can provide about yourself, the better prepared we can be for your experience. Please note that underwater cameras are not permitted within the habitat for safety reasons, but dry photography is allowed.
