Chemical Management
Here are some initiatives created to help reduce the environmental impact of our chemical use:

	AquaQuest Construction workers only brought in LEED certified glues, caulking, solvents, and paints when working on our new building.  These products are much better for the environment.  Read more.
	Green Chemicals We know that it is best to buy the least harmful product needed to get the job done.  The Aquarium uses 95% green seal approved products!
	Electronic Database To allow for better chemical management, an electronic database linked to a Material Safety Data Sheet for each controlled chemical used at the Aquarium is maintained.
	Chemical Disposal We strive to keep the Aquarium free of unused, expired chemicals.  Routine chemical disposals are facilitated by local experts to ensure we proceed in the most eco-friendly way!
