School Group Bookings 2010-2011

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (PST) Monday to Friday

Please have the following ready:

• A choice of several dates and times
• The number of students and adult chaperones
• Address, postal code, phone and fax numbers of the school

Once you book a program, we will send you a package; please read everything in the package. You must SIGN AND RETURN the CONFIRMATION sheet within 10 days of receiving it in order to confirm your program.  You can mail or fax it to the Booking Office.  Failure to return your program confirmation within 10 days will result in your program being cancelled and offered to another school group.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your visit or significantly change the number of students booked, we ask that you inform the bookings office of any changes in your plans at least 2 weeks before your program. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the program, you will be charged 50% of the total price, based on the most recent number of students you booked.

Self-Directed Groups

As of July 2010, the self-guided group rate is $12.00 per student plus HST. Self-guided visits are possible any day of the year. To qualify for the group rate, school groups MUST book in advance by calling (604) 659-3552. Phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

School Program Fees

$12.00/student plus applicable HST - School Programs designed for K-7

$12.50/student plus applicable HST - School Programs designed for 8-12

• Program fees for school groups include full-day admission to the Aquarium
• One teacher is admitted free per booking
• One free adult chaperone with every five students
• Upon booking, we will email you a package and you must sign and return a portion to confirm your program

Sep  7  - Bookings begin for school programs offered October 2010 through June 2011

Oct   7  - Teacher Appreciation Night, 6:00 - 8:30pm, FREE for Teachers, Check later for RSVP info

Oct  12 - First day of school programs

Oct  22 - Teacher Professional Development Day

Dec 16 - Jan 11 - Winter Break, no school programs

Mar  21 - Mar 25 - Spring Break, no school programs

Jun  17 - Last day of school programs
