BOOKING PROCEDURES 2008-2009

We are available any time between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (PST) Monday to Friday.
Please have the following ready:
- A choice of several dates and times
- The number of students and adult chaperones
- Address, postal code, phone and fax numbers
of the school
Once you book a program, we will send you a confirmation package; please read everything in the package. You must SIGN AND RETURN the PROGRAM CONFIRMATION sheet within 10 days of receiving it. You can mail or fax it to the Booking Office. If you have any questions, please call 604-659-3552 weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (PST).
Failure to return your program confirmation within 10 days will result in your program being cancelled and offered to another school group.
Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your visit or significantly change the number of students booked, we ask that you inform the bookings office of any changes in your plans at least 10 days before your program.
All cancellations will result in a $20.00 fee. If you cancel within 10 days of the program, we will bill the school for the total fee amount, based on the most recent number of students booked.
Important Dates:
Sep 2 - Bookings begin for School Programs offered October 2008 through June 2009
Oct 6 - Teacher Appreciation Night, 6:00 - 8:30pm, FREE for Teachers, Please RSVP
Oct 14 - First day of school programs
Oct 24 - Teacher Professional Development Day
Dec 22 - Jan 16 - Winter Break, no school programs
Mar 16 - Mar 20 - Spring Break, no school programs
Jun 19 - Last day of school programs
Self-Guided Visits:
The self-guided group rate is $9.50 per student including GST. Self-guided Visits are possible any day of the year. To qualify for the group rate, school groups MUST book in advance by calling (604) 659-3552. Phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
One teacher is admitted free per booking.
One free adult chaperone with every five students.
Upon booking, we will mail you a confirmation package.
School Programs:
Program fees for school groups include full-day admission to the Aquarium.
Preschool/Theatre Programs $10.50/student
Gallery/Classroom Programs $11.50/student
Outdoor Programs $11.50/student
Wet lab Programs $12.50/student
One teacher is admitted free per booking.
One free adult chaperone with every five students.
