Engaging! Amazing! Inspiring!

Children have been visiting the Vancouver Aquarium and participating in our programs since we opened in 1956.  Three generations of children have been engaged, amazed and inspired by aquatic animals and their habitats through close encounters with fascinating creatures and hands-on, experiential programs.  Led by trained staff and volunteers, school programs are 1-2 hours in length and are held in our galleries, classrooms or wet lab. Check individual programs for further details.

Our school programs support the Prescribed Learning Outcomes of the BC Ministry of Education's Integrated Resource Packages (IRPs) and follow the Aquarium's conservation mission. We updated our curriculum links in the summer of 2010.

Programs are available from Oct 12, 2010 to June 24, 2011.

Registration opens September 7, 2010.
