Anatomy of a Rainforest (Grades 6-7)

This program is a wonderful and unique opportunity for students to explore a tropical rainforest, right here in Vancouver! Students enter the Graham Amazon Gallery to observe various species of animals and plants, and discover how these species interact with each other and their environment.  They will be exploring the wonders of 6 different Amazon biological groups: insects, plants, herptiles, birds, fish, and mammals.  Students will compare tropical and temperate rainforests, and learn about conservation issues in these ecosystems.
