Sports fishers and scuba divers from all over the world come to enjoy B.C.’s rockfish. Unfortunately, these colourful fish are going through a crisis that most of us cannot see. The same features that make rockfish so attractive to divers and fishers also put them at risk of overfishing. Most members of the public don’t realize just how much trouble the rockfish are in.
