Unedited photomural: Plumose anemone reef

Preliminary clay model of Point Atkinson Research Fishing Closure Reef
|
Preliminary clay sculpture illustrating the Point Atkinson Research Fshing Closure reef. This reef, characterized by large plumose anemones, is home to a considerable variety of fish and invertebrates, most notably black rockfish reintroduced to Vancouver waters in 1997 by the Vancouver Aquarium. The majority of the fish species at this site can be found in amongst the rubble slide located in the centre of the picture. This sculpture may be used to help computer animators create a computer generated image of the reef as was done for the Hutt Marker sponge reef. |
